The World Friendship Crusade is a foundation that promotes friendship and similar activities among all human beings, regardless of race, color or religion. Since then, Paraguay is celebrating 30 July as the friendship day as the celebration this beautiful relation of friendship.

The World Friendship Crusade has requested the United Nations for many years to declare 30 July as World Friendship Day and then finally on 20 May, General Assembly of the United Nations decided to proclaim 30 July as the International Day of Friendship. And invite all Member States to observe the International Day of Friendship in for the culture and customs of their local, national and regional communities.
